Helena has over 15 years of professional experience and worked at various universities in the Netherlands and the UK before joining KIT in 2013. She has particular skills and expertise in agricultural economics and policy, rural land use, land and water management, value chain development, agricultural innovation systems, systems thinking and impact evaluations. Helena is skilled in both quantitative and qualitative methods for research and evaluations. The geographical coverage of her work includes sub-Saharan Africa and the Andes region in South America.
